Mojo's Wish Upon a Prom 2017
We teamed up with the Wish Upon A Teen organization for their annual event for teenagers with life threatening or chronic illness who don’t have the opportunity to take part in their traditional school prom experience. Our goal was to provide them with the traditional life milestone they would unfortunately miss out on due to hospitalizations, surgeries, medical treatments or other complications from illness. The teens were pampered prior to prom, and received professional beauty/makeup applications and also had the opportunity to choose their special outfits.

Miracle League 2015
Time Team Detroit volunteers joined "The Mojo in the Morning Show" in playing a game of baseball with the kids of The Miracle League provides children with disabilities an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league.

Detroit Dog Rescue
Time Team Detroit volunteers joined "The Mojo in the Morning Show" in helping DDR spruce up it's facility. Helped the organization by spreading gravel, painting the exterior of the building, cleaning up the paths the dogs take walks on, and walking a few dogs in the process, too!

Vista Maria and Girl Empower Detroit
"Time Team Detroit and Girl (em)Power Detroit volunteers painted portions of Vista Maria's gym, cafeteria, and renovating one of the women's bathrooms at the school. Each bathroom's mirrors now has a unique message for the girls: You are beautiful. You are worthy. You are unique. Whichever mirror she stands in front of, she is reminded of who she is as she sees herself with the encouraging words written. Think total overhaul makeover!  Every aspect of the bathroom will be a reminder of who she is. Confident. Empowered. Radiant. Beautiful.  

Super Ewan!
Ewan Drum is an 8-year-old with a big dream! Twice a month, Super Ewan puts on a cape and brings help and hope to Detroit's less fortunate. With the donations from friends, family and Super Fans, Super Ewan is able to take food, clothing, bedding and toiletries to the homeless in Roosevelt Park. His motto: "We can all be a superhero to someone!" and his goal is to see people all over the world helping out their neighbors and assuring everyone knows they are loved.

Vista Maria and Girl Empower Detroit

"Sunshine is Always Brighter" with a Second Chance Home
"SAB" was founded by Debra Bowers. The organization helps women who have been battered and beaten; Helping them go to school, get jobs, and get their kids back if they were taken by CPS. "SAB" works with candidates who have left their situations and are in homeless shelters. Debra has done what she can through the help of friends and family members, but needs a bigger influence to get the word out. 

The "Mojo in the Morning" Show and Time Team Detroit volunteers painted walls, trims, put together a swing set, and more to help refurbish the center.

Miracle League Baseball
Our Time Teamers joined up with us as well as the wives of the Detroit Tigers to volunteer for Miracle League Baseball. Located in Southfield, MI and home to Michigan's FIRST baseball field for children with any physical or cognitive disability, offering the true Major League experience. The Miracle League of Michigan is making dreams come true for some very special kids - Michigan's First, and Still the Best, Adaptive Baseball Field - est. 2004

Judson Center Bike Delivery
Mojo in the Morning and the Judson Center partnered up with GM Warren Transmission Operations and UAW Local 909, Chad's Landscaping, Genisys Credit Union, Papa Romano's Pizza, and Meijer in Northville & Wixom to deliver over 300 bikes to foster kids.

Sterling Heights Challengers Wheelchair Basketball 
The Sterling Heights Challengers Junior Basketball Team is a competitive wheelchair basketball team that gives children (Ages 6-19) with lower extremity and spinal disabilities the opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball. In doing so, the kids are able to see that they are not alone in their struggles, and have the chance to meet new friends from all over the Metro-Detroit area.  

Christ Child House for children at risk in Detroit 
Christ Child House is part orphanage and part therapeutic home to 18-25 boys (as young as 5 years old) who have already exhausted a string of foster homes. More than half the boys are legal orphans, their parents' rights terminated because of neglect, abandonment or abuse.  

Sterling Heights Challengers Wheelchair Basketball 
The Sterling Heights Challengers Junior Basketball Team is a competitive wheelchair basketball team that gives children (Ages 6-19) with lower extremity and spinal disabilities the opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball. In doing so, the kids are able to see that they are not alone in their struggles, and have the chance to meet new friends from all over the Metro-Detroit area.  

Holiday Meal Packing with Forgotten Harvest (Benefiting The Salvation Army)
Time Team Detroit volunteered, along with members of The Mojo in the Morning Show, packed 10,000 boxes with non-perishable food items to be distributed by the Salvation Army to those in need over the holidays.

Covenant House Michigan Candlelight Vigil 2012
Together, with Time Team Detroit, candles of hope were lit and prayers were said for the young people who still call the streets "home" so that they can find peace and safety someday. Time Team Detroit volunteers, along with members of The Mojo in the Morning Show, were helping light candles, taking donations, serving refreshments, greeting guests and helping with clean up.

Support Our Troops Packing Party
Time Team Detroit volunteers joined members of "Mojo in the Morning" to pack boxes filled with hygiene supplies, food and other items from home for our troops overseas. "Operation Care Package Michigan" hosted a packing party to support our troops and military working dogs serving on the battlefield. We shipped over 1,200 care packages from home to let our military know that we have not forgotten what they are doing for our country.

Operation Kid Equip
Operation Kid Equip's mission is to empower children to overcome many of the obstacles they encounter during the school day by providing school supplies, books, hygiene items and other aid for students across metro Detroit. The organization also partners with schools to improve reading proficiency levels by providing books to enhance home libraries.

The Miracle League of Michigan
“The Miracle League of Michigan” is a charitable organization that provides children with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. The crew from "Mojo in the Morning" and Time Team Detroit volunteers will each be paired with a Miracle League child to play an entire baseball game.

C.O.A.C.H. (Chaldean Outreach and Community Hope)
Time Team Detroit volunteers and members of the Mojo in the Morning Show were paired with a child to work on a project that is based off of the reality shows "Shark Tank" and "Celebrity Apprentice." The kids and their Time Team volunteer worked together to create a product or business and present that idea to a panel of "judges." This project allowed the children to work on their English speaking skills, reading, writing and creativity.

Ruth Ellis Center
Time Team Detroit volunteers will be performing a variety of tasks, including deep cleaning the facility, sorting/ organizing clothing donations, sorting/ organizing non-perishable food donations and household items, and packing outreach hygiene supply kits.

Time Team Detroit volunteers, along with members of The Mojo in the Morning Show, will helped to brighten up an entire floor of shelter rooms with a fresh coat of paint.

DTE Energy Community Garden
Time Team Detroit volunteers harvested veggies from just one of the many area DTE Energy Community Gardens and packed up food for Gleaners Community Food bank.

Operation: Kid Equip - Backpackpalooza
Operation: Kid Equip's vision is a community where every child's basic school-day needs are met. The organization accomplishes this through the mission of providing free school supplies, books, hygiene and food items for local children in need. Time Team Detroit volunteers and Mojo in the Morning gave out thousands of backpacks and helped kids fill them up with school supplies as they went from station to station.

Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program Cleanup
Time Team Detroit Volunteers helped "makeover" the Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program facility by painting, weeding, planting bushes and shrubs, cleaning up trash, and much more. Actual participants in the program helped with the cleanup too!

The Miracle League of Michigan
Time Team Detroit volunteers helped special needs kids swing the and run the bases for a game of baseball on the Miracle League's special rubberized field. Everyone was surprised when Dan Cleary from the Detroit Red Wings stopped by! Thank you to Domino's and Pepsi for lunch! Friendship Circle Bark For Friendship
Bark for Friendship was a first-time event for the Friendship Circle that will helped to raise money to support weekly programs, day camps and the 140 schools which come to Life Town. Volunteers washed dogs, helping with doggie carnival games, and made sure that the Friendship Circle kids had a great time!

Operation Kid Equip
Operation Kid Equip is a non-profit organization that provides free school supplies, books, hygiene and food items to local children in need. We helped organize and pack backpacks and boxes full of school supplies, office supplies, and clothing for these deserving kids.

Forgotten Harvest Mobile Pantry
Spike from Mojo In The Morning and Time Team Detroit volunteers helped to distribute food to needy individuals and families within the neighborhood. Volunteers also did face painting and read to the children. We were able to help by providing food to hundreds of families.

Jude Community Garden Harvest and Beautification
Time Team volunteers worked side-by-side with Mojo In The Morning performing maintenance and tasks such as weeding and harvesting vegetables from the Jude Family Community Community neighborhood garden.

The Kaboom! Project at the Jude Family Childcare Center
Mojo In The Morning, Time Team Detroit volunteers, and members of the Kaboom! Project and the United Way helped build a playground from the ground up at the Jude Family Childcare Center in Detroit. We started with a overgrown field and turned it into safe gathering spot for children to play.

DTE Energy Gardens Project
The DTE Energy Gardens Project truly involves the entire community. DTE Energy provides buffer property to Gleaners Community Food Bank (Gleaners) for the creation of community gardens. The municipalities provide wood chips, compost, and leaves. Community organizations, corporations, schools, probation courts, master gardeners and religious groups provide volunteers and resources to make the project a success.

Impact Your Neighborhood @ Lincoln Middle School
Spike & volunteers created an outdoor classroom by cleaning up and landscaping the courtyard at Lincoln Middle School in Warren. They also painted inspirational canvas and wall murals throughout the school along with teachers, students and parents

Fish and Loaves Community Food Pantry
Volunteers along with Spike unloaded truck loads of food, restocked pantry shelves, and also assisted those in need gather and box up their food selections.

Clara Barton Elementary School with Southwest Solutions
Shannon and volunteers will be prepared and painted two classrooms in the Clara Barton Elementary School which will be used by Southwest Counseling Solutions as one of four new sites for their Early Learning Communities (ELCs).

The Salvation Army
Mojo and some volunteers took a few hours out of their busy lives to help others at the Salvation Army in Mt. Clemens.

The Covenant House
Volunteers joined Shannon at the Covenant House of Michigan on to help clean up and organize the campus. The Covenant House provides sanctuary for homeless young people.

Salvation Army Bell Ringers
Mojo In The Morning along with Time Team Detroit volunteers took some time to help the Salvation Army Bell Ringers. We covered the Oakland Mall, Twelve Oaks Mall, Lakeside Mall & Laurel Park Place to collect some extra cash this holiday season.

The Baldwin Center
Time Team Detroit volunteers spent a Saturday helping clean-up and beautify The Baldwin Center Food Kitchen. The Baldwin Center has served the community of Pontiac, Michigan since 1981. They are a human services agency that provides over 25 programs for the surrounding neighborhood. Their mission is to feed, clothe, educate and empower the men, women, and children of the community..

September 11th Day of Service and Remembrance
Mojo In The Morning's Time Team Detroit spent 9/11 helping others. Volunteers from all over gathered at Osborn High School in Detroit. Companies let their employees take the day off to come out and help beautify the school. Thank you to everyone who came out to lend their time.
